Hand over the key
Send one invite by text or email. Your holder taps the link and they're in — the invite expires in 72 hours, and either of you can end the bond at any time.
Ask, don't sneak
Need out early? Request a fixed window of minutes with a short reason. Your holder grants or denies — and silence decides too: unanswered requests expire after 10 minutes.

What we don't promise.
Blockers love to overpromise. Here's exactly where KeyBond's walls are — so you can decide if they're high enough.
Not uninstall-proof. Nobody is.
Platform rules don't allow it, so we don't claim it. You can delete the app or revoke its permissions. What KeyBond does instead: detect revoked access, tell your holder, and — if the app simply goes silent — report “protection can't be confirmed.” Never a fake alarm, never a bluff.
Emergency unlock always exists
Hold for three seconds, any time, and the current seal ends. That's a feature, not a loophole — and your holder is notified every single time. Accountability that depends on hiding exits isn't accountability.
Your holder sees almost nothing
The minutes you asked for, the reason you wrote, and protection events. That's the whole list. No app names — iOS won't even tell us — no usage data, and no chat channel: asks are one-way, one-shot, never a conversation.
No invented numbers
