How to delete a KeyBond account permanently, and what happens to its data.

1. Delete in the app

Sign in, open Settings, choose Delete account and confirm. If you cannot sign in or no longer have the app, write to support@keybond.app from the email address the account uses, with the subject "KeyBond account deletion". We reply with a confirmation link that works for 24 hours.

2. Before you delete

• If you have a store subscription, cancel it in the App Store or Google Play first. Deleting the account does not cancel store billing.
• Tell your keyholder; the bond ends with the account and no further ask is delivered.
• The app selection on your phone is not part of the account. Clear it yourself if you want it gone.

3. What happens immediately

The account is closed: every session ends, registered devices are signed out, the keyholder bond ends, pending asks are cancelled, and no further email, SMS or push is sent for the account. A deleted account cannot be restored by signing in again.

4. What happens after 30 days

Every account record is purged: asks and their reasons, leases, tokens, protection check-ins, schedules, push tokens, entitlement events, the analytics identifier and the account row itself. The 30-day window exists so that a mistaken deletion can be raised with us by email before the purge.

5. What remains

• Purchase records stay with the store and RevenueCat under their own terms.
• Billing and tax records stay where the law requires, isolated from normal product use.

6. Manual requests and confirmation

For a request by email, include only what identifies the account. Never send a password or a login, invitation or answer link. We check that the request comes from the account's email address, and we confirm when the purge is done or explain any retention the law requires.
