How KeyBond works (quick)

You seal apps on a schedule. Optional keyholder: early unlock needs their yes via a link — no app install for them. Timed breaks always end on their own.

Common questions

I didn't get a magic link

Check spam. Request another from the app. Links expire; request a new one.

Keyholder didn't get the invite

Confirm the email or phone. Ask them to check spam/filtered SMS. Invite links expire after 72 hours — send a new invite from Settings.

Unlock ask expired

Asks auto-deny after about 10 minutes with no answer. Send a new ask from the app.

I revoked Screen Time / accessibility

Protection stops. The app should show that protection was interrupted and can notify your keyholder. Re-authorize in the app to resume.

Cancel subscription

iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Android: Play Store → Payments & subscriptions. We also email before a trial ends.

Delete account & data

Account deletion is available in the KeyBond app; /delete-account explains how (Play Data safety entry).

Not for emergencies

If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. KeyBond's "emergency unlock" only unlocks your own sealed apps for the current window and notifies your keyholder — it is not a personal safety service.
