Agreement

By using KeyBond (the app, keybond.app, and related services), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The product

KeyBond helps you lock selected apps on a schedule and optionally appoint a keyholder who can approve early unlocks. Keyholders use a web link; they do not need an account or install.

Honest limits

Platform rules and OS design mean KeyBond cannot stop you from uninstalling the app, revoking Screen Time / accessibility permissions, or changing system settings. We detect what we can and notify your keyholder when protection is interrupted or unconfirmed. We do not claim the product is impossible to bypass.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate contact information for yourself and anyone you invite.
  • Only invite people who know you and consent to receive keyholder messages.
  • Do not use KeyBond to harass, stalk, or coerce anyone.
  • You are responsible for how you use timed unlocks and emergency unlock.

Subscriptions

Paid features are sold through Apple App Store and Google Play. Billing, trials, refunds, and cancellation are governed by the store's terms. Entitlement on our servers follows store-verified status via RevenueCat.

Acceptable use

No reverse engineering for abuse, no automated scraping of action links, no sending invites to people who did not consent, and no attempting to extract other users' data.

Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS". TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. KEYBOND IS NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE AND IS NOT OFFERED AS A TREATMENT OR DIAGNOSTIC TOOL.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WAVEAPP LLC IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR KEYBOND IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time (app or /delete-account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create safety risk for others.
